Fast Pace of Hong Kong

Fast pace of city life. (Photo taken in the MTRs)

The (Victoria) Peak Tower

Some photos taken in the alley on hong kong island

Madame Tussauds – Hong Kong

Madame Tussauds – Hong Kong.

One thing that most people did is to take photo with wax figures and sometimes you will just need to wait for your turn.

Everything was just fine till a group of tourists appeared. They are noisy and loud. They just push their way through the crowd, pushing everyone by force with their gigantic big fat body and cut queue ignoring those waiting for their chance.

After they took their shot, they even shout across the room and call their  relatives or friends to join them.

Of course, there are also extremely nice and polite visitors to the museum 🙂

(i am not referring to me :P)

Anyway, below are some photos taken from the museum.

Location : The Peak

Stanley is small town and tourist attraction at the southern district of Hong Kong Island.

Tourist Attractions in the district are Stanley Markey, Murray House and Tin Hua Temple.

How to get there.

  • Take Bus 6/6x from the Bus terminal (Exit D of Hong Kong MTR Station)
  • The journey is around 1hour or more depending on the traffic.
  • You can alight at either Stanley Plaza or Stanley Market.

Stanley Market

A small array of shops that sell almost everything. You can find things like sportswear, silk, jewellery, art, painting, toys, gadgets, souvenirs, bags, suitcases etc.

Tin Hua Temple (天后古廟)

Tin Hau also known as Mazu is a chinese goddess who protect seafarers such as fishermen and merchants on the sea. The temple is built in 1767 and is very well preserved.

On one of the wall in the temple, there is a tiger skin. This is the skin of a tiger that appear in 1940 nearby the village. The skin is later preserve to ward off the evils spirits.

There are also many other god/goddess being worshiped in the temple.

Murray House

Murray House. Other than it is an old restored colonial building with shops/restaurants in it, personally I don’t find anything else interesting. 😛

City Tallest Building that allow you to have a 360 view of Hong Kong. The view was fantastic.

Lan Kwai Fong

Lan Kwai Fong is one of the popular night-spot in hong kong with tourists trying to find a place to cool out. Around 9pm there will be a huge crowd in this area.

Victoria Harbour

Victoria Harbour is a tourist attraction that is always crowded especially at the evening when everyone will just get together to watch the symphony of light.
